A workshop was organised by Silverline in association with CRISP (The Consortium for Research in School Pedagogy) to enhance the ICT skills of the teachers for making education to be more creative than simply learning. Teachers from over 28 schools of Ghaziabad and NCR attended the workshop.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Udai Lauria, President CRISP. He emphasized on the term divergent thinking which is essential for creativity & learning. It is the special ability of a teacher of 21
st century which can prepare the students for life.
Mr. Rajat, another resource person from CRISP continued the workshop and made the teachers familiar with many software which would assist them in enhancing their lessons.
He also made the teachers aware of, how power point presentations could be clubbed with video lectures, which can be seen repeatedly by the students for their clear understanding.
The workshop served as a tool for unleashing the power that the teacher can bring to the classroom. It can increase the learning capacity and enhance the professional growth of the educators.
