An impressive presentation was given in morning assembly by students of Classes IX-XII to celebrate UN Day which marks the anniversary of United Nation Organization founded on 24 October 1945. Through this presentation children were made aware about the various organs of the UNO and agencies which work for the United Nations across the world.
A session of General Assembly was enacted in which the member nations voted for the abolition of Child Labour and pledged to curb the problem in several Asian and African countries by sending in the required aid.
This enactment gave the students an insight into the functioning of this International Organization and how the nations deal with the different global issues.
