Basket Ball Workshop at Silver Line School

Silver Line in association with ‘Sahodaya Schools Complex Ghaziabad Chapter’ organized a Basketball workshop for the budding players of this sport..64 players often schools participated in this workshop. This workshop was conducted by Mr. Rohit Bakshi (Founder YounGuns Basket Ball Club), International Basket Ball player who has played Basket Ball in Japan, Scotland and England at International level. Mr. Bakshi and his team began the workshop with a warm-up session of 20 minutes. A defence drill of three types was conducted for 30 minutes to keep the players active and healthy. All the participants played league matches and selected ones played final match with the players of YounGuns Club. Mr. Telu Ram Kamboj, Mayor Ghaziabad was the Chief Guest for the award ceremony. He blessed all the participants and motivated them to pursue their talent with perseverance to fulfill their dream of becoming stars in this field. The aim of this workshop was to tap the talent in children and to make them learn the tips of this game. These types of workshops are an attempt to make the children learn to work with co-operation, team spirit and tactics of this sport.
